For your first appointment, we will need a lot more time and product to achieve the results you're looking for. Please fill out our client questionnaire when requesting your first appointment to ensure Kirby and her team are prepared and ready to help you achieve your dream colour.
To help with the confusion of knowing what to book, how much time it will take, and what the overall total will be, we have created a list of packages to choose from for your first appointment with us which outlines the price and time it will take.

The beginning.
Your experience begins with contacting emailing or ringing the salon to make a booking.
Once you are booked in you will receive an online client consultation form which will be attached to your file. This is so we get a better understanding of your hair and what you would like to achieve before your appointment and create a tailored Pelo experience for you.
You will receive a confirmation text 5 days before your appointment. If you need to make any changes please contact us immediately as we have a long waitlist and don’t want you to miss out on getting back in or be charged the booking fee.
Arriving at the salon.
Allow extra time to find a park near the salon. Croydon Street, Cronulla Roof Parking has free 4 hour parking available or street parking is within walking distance.
Cronulla train station is also a short 6 minute walk to the salon.
The salon is located at 28A Cronulla St, Cronulla. We are inside the mall, directly across from “Cocky Locky” and upstairs from the “Blindbear” through a glass door.
Please arrive 5 minutes early to your appointment. You will be greeted with a smile and taken over to your seat where you will be shown the drink menu. Your stylist will be informed of your arrival and will be with you as soon as possible. We promise to value your time by staying on schedule. You can relax in our salon space knowing that it is thoroughly clean and disinfected between each client, so the space is ready for you to settle into and make your home.
The Consultation.
We believe in a thorough consultation to better understand your hair history and what you would like to achieve. We will go through likes, dislikes, use visual photos and discuss practicality and work out a tailored hair plan for you. We will also discuss future maintenance and at home recommendations to get to your desired result as soon as possible. Your stylist will present you with a quote and answer any questions you have to make sure you're fully confident and ready before moving forward. Please advise your stylist if you need to be out by a certain time. We will work efficiently to respect your time, but we will never sacrifice the quality of our work by rushing on your hair. We allow 3-4 hours for most colour services to be completed.
The process.
After your consultation your stylist will work out your formulations and techniques they will be using to create your dream hair. All details of your hair plan will be noted in your personal file. We work as a team at Pélo by Lago so during your service you may have a fellow stylist assist or advise. We believe we get the best results by working as a creative hub.
We use the highest quality products and take your hair health into consideration every step of the way. We believe you can't have beautiful hair without healthy hair.
Throughout the service we will chat more in depth about how to maintain the longevity of your color, the health of your hair, and how to style at home.
Please feel free to bring a book, ipad, or work laptop with you to keep busy or indulge in a little Netflix and chill. I'll always make sure you're comfortable with a warm cup of coffee or delicious Margarita cocktail in hand. It's our belief that your time in our chair is yours, so you never have to worry about how to spend your time in our chair. There are no judgments in this space!
